Austin Peay State University

Harned Hall, named for former State Commissioner of Education, P. L. Harned, houses the departments of history, philosophy, languages, and literature. The sculpture known formally as The Sentinel and affectionately by students as The Green Man, was created by former art faculty member Olan Bryant.

Barber & Mcmurry Architects

In 1930, Barber and McMurry architects designed four buildings for the University of Tennessee including the Hoskins Library (shown here).

Built in 1853 in Columbia, TN, Beechlawn takes its name from the grove of beech trees surrounding it.

Belmont Mansion

Belmont Mansion, completed in 1853, was the suburban summer home estate of Joseph and Adelicia Acklen. Located on the campus of Belmont University in Nashville, it is operated today as a historic house museum by the Belmont Mansion Association. Photograph by Bob Schatz.

Constructed in 1890 and renovated in 1986, Freeman Hall serves as the administration building for Belmont University.

Benton County

The United States Post Office in Camden is a Colonial Revival style structure built in 1938. It features a mural done by the Works Progress Administration as is listed on the National Register.
